What the FinOps Certified Platform Certification Means
The certification evaluates platforms across 22 FinOps Framework Capabilities, spanning four areas of the FinOps practice: Understand Usage & Cost, Quantify Business Value, Optimize Usage & Cost, and Manage the FinOps Practice.
As part of the certification process, platforms must provide publicly referenceable evidence of their functionality and demonstrate their capabilities through a recorded product demonstration. The program also requires FinOps-certified professionals within the organization, based on company size.
Together, these requirements recognize both the technology supporting FinOps and the expertise behind it.
